Company History

In the early years, JET's product line was limited to the TM Series with brass elements. Today, after 50+ years of experimenting with a variety of configurations and listening to our clients' custom requests, we have evolved into a leader in the air-silencing industry. We are pleased and proud to offer several lines of mufflers, each offering a variety of element materials to best meet your quiet air needs.

Located in Plymouth, Michigan, a quiet suburb midway between Ann Arbor and Detroit, JET Industries was founded in 1969 by John B. Trainor. Today, JET Industries is still family-owned and operated. Third and fourth generation Trainors ensure only the highest quality products are being manufactured and shipped from our facilities. In fact, call it old-fashioned, but we still inspect 100% of our products by hand.
